The former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has finally been sworn in as a senator of the Federal Republic.
Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Former Imo State Governor, was on Thursday sworn in as Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, The Nation reports.
Clerk to the Senate, Nelson Ayewoh, conducted the swearing-in ceremony after which Okorocha signed necessary documents.
Okorocha was not inaugurated on Tuesday because he had yet to collect his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The former governor will represent the Imo West Senatorial District at the red chamber.
